On Thursday, April 14th at 3 pm, in the Activities Room, we will have Laughter Club. There are many benefits of laughter for Seniors. Internal jogging–laughing provides a good massage to all the internal organs, especially the intestines, improving the blood supply and all organ functions. laughter is aerobic; 1 minute of laughter is equivalent to 10 minutes on a rowing machine. Laughter reduces blood pressure and heart rate, stimulates the brain, keeps it active, young and mentally alert. Laughter connects people and provides social interaction.
