For the independent living resident, King’s Bridge means freedom and choices. Residents no longer have to be concerned about housekeeping, cooking, or yard work. Light housekeeping is provided for residents weekly; the dining room serves three meals each day, one of which is included in the monthly lease; and the grounds are designed for year-round enjoyment with flowers and fountains in each of the garden areas. Increased leisure time allows the resident to become involved in the daily activities at King’s Bridge planned by our professional staff. Concerts and other programs are routinely scheduled in our beautiful auditorium, and outside events are scheduled with transportation provided on the King’s Bridge bus.
Understanding that good physical, mental, and emotional health provide the foundation for carefree, independent living, King’s Bridge places a strong emphasis on wellness. The King’s Bridge community provides a
Wellness Center staffed seven days a week, and hosts health-related speakers and programs. For additional support, each apartment is equipped with emergency call buttons to summon assistance in the event of an emergency. Our door tag check system allows staff to check on a resident’s safety twice each day without interfering with the resident’s schedule.
Residents are encouraged to increase their physical endurance and flexibility with our low impact aerobics classes and in the on-site exercise center. Additionally, weekly, monthly and seasonal events fill the
calendar with exciting opportunities for social interaction.
All in all, King’s Bridge’s supportive environment promises Independent Living residents years of cheerful, bountiful living.
